Drama Program
For over 25 years, the St. John of God Drama Club has offered students in Grades 4-8 at St. John of God School the opportunity to participate in Musical Theatre. Students improve their acting and singing abilities while teachers, parents, and volunteers provide costuming, hospitality, and staging to allow for a fully immersive and unique experience.
Last year the St. John of God Drama Club prepared to present Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's "Mary Poppins Jr." Based on one of the most popular Disney movies of all time and the Broadway musical, Mary Poppins Jr. tells the story of the Banks family when a magical Nanny comes into their household and teaches the Banks Family how to value each other again. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from a nanny who advises that "Anything can happen if you let it."
