At St. John of God School, we are more than just an educational institution – we are a family rooted in faith, committed to academic excellence, and dedicated to the development of the whole child. For over 70 years, our school has been a beacon of Catholic education in the Norwalk community, nurturing young minds in a Christ-centered environment.
Our mission is to cultivate a love for learning while instilling the values of compassion, service, and integrity. Through a comprehensive curriculum, we offer students a strong foundation in academics, faith, and moral character. With small class sizes and personalized attention, our educators are devoted to meeting each child’s unique needs, fostering both academic growth and spiritual development.
At St. John of God School, we believe that education is most impactful when it embraces the mind, heart, and spirit. Our programs are designed to challenge and inspire students to reach their full potential while remaining grounded in the teachings of the Catholic faith. From transitional kindergarten to 8th grade, we provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
We invite you to explore our website, schedule a visit, or attend one of our upcoming events to see the Charger spirit in action. Join us in shaping the future, one student at a time.
St. John of God School- Where Faith, Knowledge, and Community Come Together
Non-Discrimination Policy
The school, mindful of its mission to be a witness to the love of Christ for all, admits students regardless of race, color, national origin, and/or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, disability, medical condition, sex, or national and/or ethnic origin in the administration of educational policies and practices, scholarship programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs, although certain athletic leagues and other programs may limit participation and some archdiocesan schools operate as single-sex schools.
While the school does not discriminate against students with special needs, a full range of services may not always be available to them. Decisions concerning the admission and continued enrollment of a student in the school are based upon the student's emotional, academic, and physical abilities and the resources available to the school in meeting the student's needs.
[Note that this School Student Non-Discrimination Policy does not provide nor imply that the archdiocese waives any legal exceptions or exemptions that may apply to it as a religious nonprofit organization.]
