Discipline Code
The vision of the all-school discipline code is to create a positive moral culture in the school community. It is based on the school philosophy whose goals and objectives include developing children in moral knowledge and moral action. Through these objectives, the child, on whom the school is centered, is given opportunities to develop character based on respect and responsibility.
CHRISTIAN BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS
RESPECT RIGHTS OF OTHERS
- Use appropriate voice and language.
- Listen to speaker.
- Respect the opinion and point of view of others.
- Refrain from harassment.
RESPECT AUTHORITY
- Listen to authority.
- Follow direction first time given.
- Accept responsibility for behavior.
DISPLAY A CONCERN FOR LEARNING
- Remain on task.
- Allow others to remain on task.
- Use proper communication skills.
BE PROMPT AND PREPARED
- Be on time.
- Come with appropriate materials.
- Come with assignments completed.
DISPLAY APPROPRIATE SOCIAL SKILLS
- Avoid any type and form of discrimination.
- Cope with disagreement, teasing, and criticism.
- Display courtesy.
- Display tact.
RESPECT PROPERTY
- Do not steal.
- Do not damage, mar, or destroy in any form any property, real or personal.
DISPLAY POSITIVE AND PRODUCTIVE CHARACTER
- Live with high standards.
- Go beyond what you expect from others.
